"MISS SAIGON" Revival Still Searching for Kim and Engineer to Hold Auditions in NYC

BroadwayWorld.com has learned via a casting notice sent to agents this week that the upcoming West End revival of Miss Saigon is still searching for both 'Kim' and 'the Engineer'. The casting search will continue in New York City after open auditions were held in London this July.

Auditions will be held at the end of this month and early October for the roles. The musical is currently set to begin rehearsals on March 10, 2014, with performances beginning on May 1 at thePrince Edward Theatre.

Orphaned by war, 17-year-old Kim is forced to work as a bar girl in a sleazy Saigon night club owned by a notorious wheeler-dealer known as 'The Engineer'. John, an American GI, buys his friend Chris the services of Kim for the night. That night will change their lives forever.

Beyonce Berjuang Menyeimbangkan Antara Karier dan Keluarga

Perlu perjuangan bagi perempuan untuk menyeimbangkan perannya sebagai ibu bekerja dan ibu bagi anak-anak. Tak terkecuali Beyonce Knowles yang masih berusaha menjalani aktivitasnya secara seimbang sebagai penyanyi dan ibu untuk anak pertamanya, Blue Ivy.

Istri dari penyanyi Rapper, Jay Z ini, sedang disibukkan dengan tur dunianya yang bertajuk “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour”. Ia pun banyak menghabiskan banyak waktunya di perjalanan. Untuk mengatasi dilema ibu bekerja, Beyonce pun mengajak serta putri berusia dua tahunnya mengikuti tur bersamanya.

"Ini benar-benar menarik karena tur ini saya pergi bersama putri saya untuk pertama kalinya dan mimpi saya yaitu selalu dapat menyeimbangkan antara kehidupan keluarga dan karier saya," akunya dalam konferensi pers saat ia tampil di Brasil beberapa waktu lalu.

Tur konsernya di Brasil berlangsung hingga 17 September 2013. Konser dunianya ini dimulai pada bulan April dan akan berlanjut sampai akhir tahun.
